  • European shares ended lower at their lowest level in four months on worries over Greece and Spain
  • The FTSEurofirst 300 index provisionally closed down 0.4 pct at 1,013.55 points
  • The Spanish stock market was down by 2.8 pct. Britain's FTSE 100 index fell 0.5 pct
  • France's CAC-40 index shed 0.2 pct while Germany's DAX was up 0.5 pct
