Yen Extends Weakness Against Majors

During New York afternoon trading on Wednesday, the Japanese yen extended its morning session's downtrend against major rivals. The yen is currently trading near new multi-week lows of 83.01 against the Canadian dollar and 131.85 versus the British pound, fresh multi-day lows of 89.62 against the franc, 81.70 versus the US dollar and 84.36 against the Australian dollar.
