Chinese Factory Output up by 9.3 Pct in April


  • Chinese factory output was up by 9.3 pct in April, lower than 11.9 pct seen last month, on subdued performance by overseas economies and rising affects of Chinese authorities efforts to get soft landing
  • Economist however were optimistic to get print of 12 pct for the data
  • Fixed investment was reported at 20.2 pct in year till April, down from 20.9 pct reported last month
  • In an other date release, retails sales were reported 14.1 pct up y/y, little lower than expected and actual 15.2 pct in March
