  • Brent crude oil futures settled higher after bouncing back from 18 month lows as as a storm threat in the Gulf of Mexico prompted short-covering.
  • ICE August Brent crude settled at $90.98/ bbl, by rising $1.75
  • For the week, Brent crude fell $6.63, down for a second straight week.
