Muzammil was born on August 25, 1980. He graduated from the Government Textile Weaving and Finishing Institute Lahore in 2000 holding a degree in textile engineering. He has been engaged in wholesale business as an intern and then as a sales manager and later as a General Manager Operations. He started trading on Forex in 2007. Muzammil is a co-founder of Forex Gainer, a Forex account management company. He joined InstaForex as an introducing broker in Pakistan in 2010.
