Consumer and producer price inflation figures are due from the UK, headlining a light day for the European economic news.

At 2.00 am ET, the Office for National Statistics publishes UK consumer and producer price data for May. Economists forecast inflation to slow to 0.5 percent from 0.8 percent in April. Output prices are expected to drop 0.9 percent annually versus a 0.7 percent fall in the previous month.

In the meantime, Europe's new car registration figures are due. Registrations had plunged 76.3 percent on year in April.

At 3.00 am ET, consumer price figures are due from Austria and Slovakia.

Half an hour later, Statistics Sweden is set to release unemployment data for May. The jobless rate was 8.2 percent in April.

At 4.00 am ET, Italy's Istat is scheduled to issue industrial orders for April. Orders had decreased 26.5 percent on a monthly basis in March.

At 5.00 am ET, Eurostat issues euro area final consumer price data for May. According to initial estimate, inflation slowed to 0.1 percent from 0.3 percent in April. This was the lowest since June 2016.
