The fourth round of auctions of fields located in Brazil's pre-salt layer, conducted by the country's Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels Agency (ANP), recorded a total signing bonus of R$ 3.15 billion (US$ 820 million), slightly missing the target of R$ 3.2 billion expected by the government. The average premium regarding the surplus oil percentage to the Union was 202.30%.

In the event, blocks were collected in Uirapuru and Tres Marias, in the Santos basin, and Dois Irmios, in the Campos basin. There was no interest for the Itaimbezinho block, in the Campos basin. The total investment planned for the areas is R$ 738 million.

The consortium formed by Petrobras (30%), Petrogal, Statoil and Exxon Mobil won the SS-AUP2 sector, located in Uirapuru, in the Santos Basin, offering 75.49% of oil surplus to the Union, with the minimum percentage being of 22.18%, a goodwill of 240.35%. The area has 1,285 square kilometers.

The SC-AP5 sector, located in Dois Irm?os in the Campos basin, was won by the consortium formed by Petrobras (45%), Statoil and BP Energy, offering 16.43% of oil surplus to the Union, without premium. The area has 1,285 square kilometers.

The consortium formed by Petrobras (30%), Chevron and Shell won the SS-AUP1 sector, located in Tres Marias, in the Santos basin, offering 49.95% of oil surplus to the Union, with a minimum percentage of 8.32%. The area also has 1,285 square kilometers.

Finally, the Itaimbezinho block, located in the Campos basin, with a signing bonus of R$ 50 million, and an oil surplus of 7.07%, with an area of 710.5 square kilometers, was not sold at the event for lack of interest.
