Greece consumer prices rose for the first time in four months in November, data from the Hellenic Statistical Authority showed on Tuesday.

The consumer price index edged up 0.2 percent year-on-year in November, after a 0.7 percent fall in October.

The prices for communication grew 2.5 percent annually in November and those of transportation and health increased by 2.2 percent and 1.9 percent, respectively.

On a monthly basis, consumer prices fell 0.6 percent in November, after a 0.1 percent rise in the prior month. That was the first fall in three months.

Separate data from the statistical office showed that the industrial production fell a working-day adjusted 0.3 percent annually in October, after a 2.4 percent rise in September.

Manufacturing output rose 2.8 percent yearly in October.

On a monthly basis, industrial production fell a seasonally adjusted 2.6 percent in October, after a 1.2 percent rise in the preceding month.
