Apple no longer ultra-expensive company

Apple Inc. is no longer the world’s most valuable company. The US tech giant has left the so-called trillion-dollar club, the group of companies with a market value of $1 trillion and more. The number of regular members of this exclusive club is very few. Depending on the market situation, the same companies get on the list. Apple was one of the first to achieve a market capitalization of more than $1 trillion. However, the biggest challenge is not to sneak into the club but to remain its member for a long time. Moreover, given the recent collapse of the US stock market, it came as no surprise that the other participants had left their longtime rival Microsoft as the only US company belonging to the trillion-dollar club. Its market capitalization totals $1.03 trillion. After panic seized the markets, Apple stocks lost 2.1 percent, dropping to $224.37 per share. As a result, the company's value is “only” $982 billion.
