Dakar 2017: eleventh stage. What else will we have to overcome?

Today was really tough for me. In yesterday's stage I probably drank too little, I was dehydrated and got a heat stroke. I felt pretty bad since morning, I had a nausea and I struggled with it the entire first section of the split stage. I don't know what is worse. If it is the body or the equipment that doesn't work. We drove in high sands with many jumps what was pretty bad for my floating stomach. The second part of the speed trial was very dusty, we drove about 70 km behind a car that didn't want us to overtake it so today we're probably also after dinner because we're full of dust we had swallowed not needing any second helping. Given the circumstances we're satisfied with the result, we couldn't do anything more!

Tomorrow's 12th stage will be the last one, from Rio Cuarto to Buenos Aires. The last stage speed trial will be 64 km, which we will drive in the very first part of the stage and then we will have to undergo a long unpleasant crossing to Buenos Aires. The total length of the stage is 786 km. Although the measured section is short, we must not underestimate it, because there's nothing to gain, but everything to lose. We need your support until the very end!

Thank you! Greetings from Ales Loprais.
