A billionaire Warren Buffet appointed the manager of hedge fund from Connecticut state Todd Combs as a manager of significant portfolio part of Berkshire Hathaway Company, Bloomberg reports. In such a manner, one of the reachest people in the world has chosen a successor candidate. 39-year old Combs was dealing with relatively small amount of money about hundreds of millions dollars. That is why this appointment has become a surprise for the analysts. Meanwhile, Buffet announced that during three years he was looking for a person of “Todd’s kind” for managing his assets. “We are enthused of that Combs comes to our company”, - the billionaire added. Nearly 80-year old Buffet will place his business in management at least to three “successors”. The general director will manage about 70 working subsidiaries of the company and two others will be engaged with the capital allocation and the investment portfolio management. Now Berkshire Hathaway holds shares in the amount exceeding 50 billion dollars including the investments in Wells Fargo Bank and also the bank cards operator American Express. Apart from this, Buffet’s company invested about 30 billion dollars in the assets with a fixed profitability inclusive of the corporate and state bonds.
