The organization announced a forecast for a drop in global oil demand in 2020. It will decrease by 9.5 million barrels per day compared to last year. In addition, a long-term forecast for 2021 was made, where the figures slightly decreased in comparison with the organization's earlier statements. OPEC now expects demand to increase by 6.5 million barrels per day next year, instead of 6.6 million in the previous possible scenario.
