USDCHF is in a bearish short-term trend but still inside a medium-term bullish channel. In our previous analysis we warned that price was approaching key support levels and an upward reversal and bounce off the channel support should be expected.

On Friday USDCHF bounced off the 38% Fibonacci retracement and the lower channel boundary. At 0.9690-0.97 we find important short-term support. Price was expected to bounce off this area and we continue to believe that this week will start with USDCHF heading higher. Failure to hold above 0.9690 will most probably lead USDCHF towards the next Fibonacci retracement at 0.9630.
