Tunisia's annual inflation rate remained at 5.4% in June 2025, consistent with the previous month of May. This figure represents the lowest since May 2021, with food prices increasing at their slowest rate since that time (6.4% compared to 6.7% in May). Inflation experienced a modest reduction across several sectors, such as leisure and culture, decreasing to 6.0% from 6.1%; clothing and footwear, down to 9.3% from 9.4%; and communication, which declined to 0.9% from 1.0%. The education sector saw no change, maintaining a rate of 5.7%. Nevertheless, inflation saw an uptick in the sectors of restaurants and hotels, rising to 11% from 10.8%, and other goods and services, increasing to 5.8% from 5.7%. On a month-over-month basis, consumer prices rose by 0.4% in June, following a 0.3% rise in May.
