This optimism was supported by weaker-than-anticipated ADP data indicating a decline in U.S. private employment for October. Leading the gains on the index, BNP Paribas surged over 2%, with Crédit Agricole rising by 1.7%, Hermès International advancing 1.6%, LVMH increasing by 1.5%, and Société Générale growing by 1.4%. In contrast, Edenred, a company providing voucher services, saw its shares drop by 10%, resulting in a trading halt after revising its 2026 profit guidance downwards. Teleperformance continued to face pressure, declining by 0.3% following a downgrade from AlphaValue, which revised the stock's rating from Buy to Hold.
