On Friday, US stock futures largely demonstrated an upward trend. Futures for the S&P 500 increased by 0.2%, while those for the Nasdaq 100 rose by 0.5%. Meanwhile, Dow Jones futures remained relatively stable. Investors were buoyed by ongoing optimism regarding the technology and artificial intelligence sectors, following robust quarterly results and guidance from TSMC. In premarket trading, most major technology stocks showed gains: Nvidia rose by 0.8%, Amazon by 0.4%, Meta by 0.2%, Broadcom saw a 1.1% increase, and Tesla advanced by 0.6%. Despite these early gains, all three of the major US indices are projected to close the week with losses: the S&P 500 is down 0.3%, the Nasdaq has decreased by 0.6%, and the Dow Jones has declined by 0.1%.
