22.07.202607:06:14UTC+00Turkey Factory Capacity Usage Eases in July

Turkey’s manufacturing sector operated at 73.9% of its production capacity in July 2026, down from a one-year high of 74.5% recorded in June. This was the lowest utilization rate since April and was largely driven by weaker performance in investment goods, where capacity use declined to 71.2% from 73.4%, signaling a slowdown in capital-intensive industries. Utilization in durable consumer goods also fell, to 67.1% from 67.9%, while overall consumer goods capacity eased to 71.4% from 71.8%. Within this category, non-durable consumer goods slipped to 72.3% from 72.6%, and food and beverages decreased to 72.0% from 72.5%. In contrast, intermediate goods remained the relatively strongest-performing segment, edging down only marginally to 74.9% from 75.0%.
