22.07.202608:25:57UTC+00DAX Climbs to Two-Week High Led by Airbus

Frankfurt's DAX 40 rose 0.5% to 25,150 on Wednesday, trading near a two-week high as upbeat corporate earnings and guidance helped offset concerns about rising oil prices and inflation risks linked to escalating tensions in the Middle East.

Airbus led the advance, jumping 6% after the world's largest aircraft manufacturer unveiled ambitious profit targets for 2029, citing strong demand for commercial jets, and announced a share buyback program earlier than anticipated. The upbeat outlook also supported engine maker MTU Aero Engines, which gained more than 2%.

Gea climbed over 5% after the industrial equipment maker raised its full-year guidance following a stronger-than-expected quarterly performance.

Investors also remained focused on Thursday's European Central Bank policy meeting, where policymakers are widely expected to leave interest rates unchanged after raising them in June.
