Siemens Healthineers (SMMNY.PK) announced an increase in both profits and revenues for the first quarter on Thursday, while reaffirming its growth forecast for fiscal year 2025.

During the first quarter, net income rose by 11% to reach 478 million euros, a step up from the previous 432 million euros recorded last year.

Earnings per share improved, with basic earnings reaching 0.42 euros, marking a 10% increase from the previous year's 0.39 euros. Meanwhile, adjusted basic earnings per share stood at 0.51 euros in contrast to 0.49 euros from the prior year.

A notable growth of 11% was also seen in Adjusted EBIT, a critical indicator of corporate earnings, which climbed to 822 million euros, compared to the preceding year's 742 million euros. The Adjusted EBIT margin rose to 15.0%, compared with 14.3% the year before.

The company reported a revenue enhancement of 5.9%, totaling 5.48 billion euros from the former 5.18 billion euros. Comparable revenue growth was noted at 5.7%.

Looking forward to fiscal year 2025, Siemens Healthineers maintains its expectation for adjusted basic earnings per share to range between 2.35 euros and 2.50 euros, alongside anticipated comparable revenue growth between 5% and 6%.

For fiscal year 2024, the adjusted basic earnings per share were recorded at 2.23 euros, accompanied by a comparable revenue growth of 4.7%.
