In the period from January to September 2025, Kyrgyzstan experienced a 10.0% year-on-year increase in its GDP. This marks a slight deceleration from the 11.1% growth recorded during the same period in the previous year, making it the slowest growth observed over a span of nine months. The key drivers of this expansion included robust activity in the commodity production sector, the service industry, and net taxes on products. Specifically, commodity production saw an upturn of 11.4%, the service industry expanded by 9.2%, and net taxes on products climbed by 9.9%. When examining the GDP composition, the services sector maintained its position as the largest contributor, accounting for 50.0% of GDP, although this represents a decrease of 1.4 percentage points year-on-year. Conversely, the portion attributed to goods-producing industries increased by 2.0 percentage points, reaching 34.7%. This was accompanied by a 1.3 percentage point rise in construction and a 1.1 percentage point increase in the industry sector, whereas agriculture's contribution saw a reduction of 0.4 percentage points.
