This mining giant saw a more than 1% increase in its shares, attributed to hitting its highest quarterly iron ore production level since 2018. Vale's output rose by 3.4 million tonnes compared to the previous year, reaching a total of 94.4 million tonnes in the third quarter of 2025. Additionally, Vale's performance was bolstered by advancements in iron ore futures, spurred by optimism over easing trade tensions between the US and China and prospective stimulus measures from Beijing. Oil prices saw a second consecutive day of gains, lifting Petrobras shares by 0.6% amid reports that India is contemplating reducing its imports of Russian oil. The banking sector also performed positively, with Banco do Brasil growing 0.2% and Bradesco 0.4%. Romi's stock surged over 5% after it announced a 15.3% year-on-year increase in quarterly net profit, totaling R$27.4 million. Conversely, WEG dropped by 0.8% due to earnings that fell short of expectations, while Ambev's shares declined by 0.9% following a weak sales forecast. Fleury experienced a significant decline, losing nearly 5% after JPMorgan downgraded its stock, amid reports that acquisition talks with Rede D’Or had collapsed.
