In September 2025, producer prices within the French domestic market experienced a slight decrease of 0.2% compared to the previous month, maintaining the same rate of decline as in August. Within the manufacturing sector, there was a modest rise in prices for food products, beverages, and tobacco, which increased by 0.2% following a previous drop of 0.1%. Moreover, the prices for electrical and electronic equipment, including computers and machinery, increased slightly by 0.1% after experiencing a 0.5% decrease earlier. Notably, coke and refined petroleum products recorded significant monthly gains, rising by 2.8% after a sharp fall of 5.8% in August, while transport equipment prices remained relatively stable, with only a minor decrease of 0.1%. On an annual scale, producer prices grew slightly by 0.1%, consistent with the rate from the previous month, bolstered by moderate increases in manufactured products.
