In September 2025, producer prices within the French domestic market experienced a slight decrease of 0.2% compared to the previous month, maintaining the same rate of decline as in August. The reduction was more pronounced in sectors such as mining, quarrying, energy, and water supply, which fell by 0.8%, down from a 0.2% decrease the preceding month. Conversely, prices for manufactured goods saw a marginal uptick of 0.1%, coming after a decline of 0.3% in August. Within the manufacturing sector, there was a modest rise in prices for food products, beverages, and tobacco, which increased by 0.2% following a previous drop of 0.1%. Moreover, the prices for electrical and electronic equipment, including computers and machinery, increased slightly by 0.1% after experiencing a 0.5% decrease earlier. Notably, coke and refined petroleum products recorded significant monthly gains, rising by 2.8% after a sharp fall of 5.8% in August, while transport equipment prices remained relatively stable, with only a minor decrease of 0.1%. On an annual scale, producer prices grew slightly by 0.1%, consistent with the rate from the previous month, bolstered by moderate increases in manufactured products.
