In September 2025, Argentina's industrial production declined by 0.7% on a year-on-year basis, showing a recovery from the 4.4% decrease observed in August. Out of sixteen manufacturing sectors, seven experienced downturns. The most significant declines were in textiles with a decrease of 20.5%, followed by clothing, leather, and footwear at -14.0%, metal products at -11.8%, and rubber and plastic products at -11.1%. Additionally, outputs in non-metallic minerals fell by 6.0%, motor vehicles and parts declined by 2.5%, and basic metals dropped by 1.0%. However, there were notable growths in other transport equipment, which increased by 16.4%, refined petroleum and nuclear fuel at 7.6%, machinery and equipment at 4.5%, chemicals at 2.2%, and food and beverages at 0.7%. On a month-to-month comparison, industrial output slightly decreased by 0.1%, following a 0.7% increase noted in August.
