In October 2025, Estonia saw a slight increase in producer prices, rising by 0.6% compared to the same month the previous year, up from a 0.5% increase in September, marking the highest level in six months. In particular, the mining and quarrying sector experienced a sharper rise in costs, recording a 3.5% increase versus 3.2% in September. Meanwhile, costs for water supply and manufacturing maintained stability at 2.7% and 0.6%, respectively. Within the manufacturing sector, price hikes were driven by increased costs of wood and wood products, food, and fabricated metal products. These were somewhat counterbalanced by reductions in costs for fuel oils, paper and paper products, and electronic equipment. Additionally, the decline in the sectors of electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning moderated slightly, with a contraction of 1.0% compared to 1.1% previously. On a month-to-month basis, producer prices rose by 0.3% in October, following a 0.5% increase in September.
