The Ibovespa was little changed around 173,000 points on Monday amid another round of corporate earnings releases. Embraer advanced nearly 7% after reporting adjusted net income of R$1.11 billion in 2Q26, up from R$890.3 million in the same period a year earlier. Itaúsa edged higher ahead of its results, due after the market close, while Caixa Seguridade (-0.5%), Natura (-0.1%), and JBS (-0.5%) are also scheduled to report. BTG Pactual and B3 are set to release their numbers tomorrow.

In commodities, oil prices climbed amid persistent tensions in the Middle East, boosting Petrobras shares by more than 1%. Among financials, performance was mixed: Itaú and Banco do Brasil gained, whereas Bradesco and BB Seguridade slipped slightly.

On the macroeconomic front, the Central Bank’s Focus Bulletin showed a marginal downward revision in the 2026 inflation forecast, to 5.02% from 5.03%. The year-end Selic rate projection remained at 13.75%, after having been reduced from 14.0% in the previous week.
