North Macedonia’s annual producer inflation rate rose to 6.5% in July 2026 from 6.2% in June, reaching its highest level since March 2025. Prices increased across several main categories: energy (11.3% vs 10.9% in June), intermediate goods excluding energy (5.3% vs 4.7%), capital goods (10.9% vs 10.6%), and consumer goods (3.9% vs 3.7%). Within consumer goods, prices for non-durable items accelerated (3.9% vs 3.7%), while price growth for durable goods eased (3.8% vs 4.5%).

By sector, producer costs rose in manufacturing (5.9% vs 5.2%), supported by stronger price increases for food products (1.8% vs 0.5%) and pharmaceuticals (5.1% vs 3.8%). Costs also continued to climb for electricity, gas, steam, and air-conditioning supply (11.7% vs 11.2%), while price growth was unchanged in water supply, sewerage, waste management, and remediation services, holding at 7.4%. In contrast, price growth in mining and quarrying slowed markedly (16.4% vs 24.5%).

On a monthly basis, producer prices were flat in July, following a 0.5% increase in June.
