It is not all the time that US economy is not on the revival which is proven by Friday statistics on the US labour market.


The unemployment rate in the United States of America plunged by 0.1%, but, on the other hand, the number of new jobs decreased as well.


It seems that there is only one condition to be met to solve the problem on the US labour market: national unemployment needs to ease to 6%. Economists inform that the 6% unemployment threshold is associated with maximum employment.


Once the jobless rate is lower, US economy will be exposed to inflationary pressures that have been forcing  the Fed to pursue a rather mild monetary policy. This is what was stated by president of the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland Sandra Pianalto.


Sandra Pianalto sees US economy to grow by 2.5% this year. She said that �to repair the damage from the last few years and speed the pace of employment growth, the economy needs to grow at a faster rate".


There are still risks borne by an expanding Eurozone debt crisis, high prices of raw materials and harsh labour market conditions.


As Pianalto says, in the next two years to come inflation is likely to hold steady at 2%, in line with the Fed target level.
