27.10.202510:32:36UTC+00Bosnia and Herzegovina Producer Prices Rise in September

Producer prices in Bosnia and Herzegovina grew by 1.5% year-on-year in September 2025, a slight acceleration from the 1.3% rise recorded in August, which marked a one-year low. This uptick was largely influenced by increased energy costs, which climbed by 5.1% compared to 4.6% the previous month, and the prices of non-durable consumer goods, which rose by 4.9% compared to 4.5% in August. Meanwhile, the decline in prices for intermediate goods occurred at a slower rate, at -1.1% versus -1.2% previously. Conversely, the rate of producer inflation eased for capital goods, falling to 1.2% from 1.6%, and the deflationary trend for durable consumer goods accelerated, with prices decreasing by 1.3%, down from the previous 0.2% drop. Month-on-month, producer prices inched up by 0.1% in September, following a period of stagnation in the preceding month.
