On Monday, the US Senate approved a temporary spending measure, which awaits approval from the House and the signature of President Trump to be enacted. Concurrently, investors were attentive to the release of new economic data and corporate reports.

Notably, the German ZEW economic sentiment index showed a decline in November compared to October, falling short of analysts' expectations for an improvement. Among the key performers on the DAX, pharmaceutical companies and retailers took the lead, with Bayer advancing by 3.5%, followed by Adidas with a 3% increase. Merck, Siemens Healthineers, and Zalando also posted strong performances, with gains of 2.9%, 2.4%, and 2.2%, respectively.

Porsche Automobil saw a 1.6% rise in its share price despite a drop in profits over the first nine months of 2025, as the company's net debt saw a slight reduction to €5 billion by September 30, down from €5.2 billion at the end of 2024. On the downside, defense sector stocks like Rheinmetall faced challenges, with a decline of 3.1%, following the revised targets announced by Hensoldt.
