This boost was largely attributed to Nvidia's impressive quarterly results, which surpassed expectations on both revenue and profits. Investor sentiment was further influenced by the upcoming release of the US September jobs report, whose publication had been delayed, as well as insights from the latest Federal Reserve meeting minutes, which toned down the likelihood of a December interest rate cut. Among the standout contributors to the CAC 40's positive performance were BNP Paribas, with a substantial gain of 5.8%, alongside Legrand and Schneider Electric, which rose by 2.8% and 2.1%, respectively. Luxury stocks experienced a recovery, with Kering, LVMH, and Hermès each seeing increases of over 1.5%.
