21.11.202508:54:53UTC+00Lithuania Industrial Output Growth Accelerates in October

Lithuania's industrial production saw an increase of 1.8% year-on-year in October 2025, a notable improvement from the revised 0.2% growth observed in the previous month. This upward trend was primarily fueled by a recovery in manufacturing, which rose by 1.4% compared to a 0.1% decline in September, and a more substantial increase in output from the electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning supply sectors, which surged 9.4% against 5.3% the prior month. Conversely, growth in the mining and quarrying sectors slowed to 2.6% from 3.9%, and the sectors involving water supply, sewerage, waste management, and remediation services experienced a deeper contraction, declining by 11.6% compared to the 8.1% drop in September. On a month-to-month basis, industrial output fell by 0.5%, following a revised 2.0% decrease in the preceding month.
