Poland's industrial output experienced a 3.2% year-on-year increase in October 2025, exceeding market forecasts of a 2.5% rise, though there was a notable slowdown from the revised 7.6% increase observed in the prior month. Growth decelerated significantly in the manufacturing sector, which saw a 3.2% rise compared to an 8.4% increase in September, and in the water supply, sewerage, waste management, and remediation services sector, which grew by 5.5%, down from 6.5%. Conversely, output experienced a recovery in both mining and quarrying, which rose by 3.9% after a previous decline of 1.9%, and in electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning, which increased by 1.4% following a decrease of 0.3%. On a monthly basis, industrial output climbed by 5.4% in October, slowing from the revised 16.3% surge reported in September.
