In October 2025, Slovenia experienced an 8.8% increase in tourist arrivals compared to the same month the previous year, reaching a total of 0.51 million visitors. This growth, however, was a slight decrease from the 11.7% rise seen in September. The number of international tourists grew by 10.6% to 374,641, while domestic tourist arrivals saw a 4.4% increase, totaling 138,800. Predominantly, foreign visitors arrived from Germany, Austria, Italy, Hungary, and Croatia. At the same time, overnight stays increased by 9.7%, amounting to 1.23 million. Key contributors to this growth were the health (spa) resorts, mountain resorts, Ljubljana, and the seaside resorts, accounting for 22%, 21%, 21%, and 19% of the stays, respectively. From January through October, Slovenia welcomed 6.32 million tourist arrivals, marking a 6.6% rise from the previous year. Overnight stays during this period reached 16.2 million, showing a 6.3% increase. Notably, foreign tourists were responsible for 76% of these overnight stays, with the majority coming from Germany.
