During the third quarter of 2025, average weekly earnings in Ireland experienced a 4.9% year-over-year increase, reaching €1,003.81. This figure represents a slight acceleration from the adjusted 4.5% rise observed in the previous quarter, though it remains the second-slowest growth rate seen in almost two years. Wage growth was evident across all of the economy's 13 sectors, highlighting widespread economic strength. Notable wage increases were recorded in the arts, entertainment, and recreation sector (+10.2%), mining and quarrying (+10%), and real estate activities (+8.8%). Simultaneously, average hourly earnings rose by 4.3% to €30.50, and average weekly paid hours edged up by 0.6% to 32.9, indicating a gentle expansion in the overall labor input.
