In November 2025, Slovenia's annual inflation rate decreased to 2.3%, down from the nineteen-month high of 3.1% recorded in October. This represents the lowest level since June. The moderation in inflation is attributed to a slowdown in price increases for various categories: food and non-alcoholic beverages saw a price rise of 5%, down from 6.8% in October; housing and utilities increased by 4%, compared to 4.2% previously; alcoholic beverages and tobacco saw an increase of 3.5%, down from 3.7%; health expenses rose by 5.1%, down from 5.5%; recreation and culture rose by 0.5%, compared to 1.3%; education costs increased by 4.2%, slightly down from 4.3%; and restaurants and hotels saw a rise of 4.1%, down from 4.7%. In addition, transport prices decreased, with a decline of 0.4% following a previous increase of 0.7%. However, there was a faster increase in prices for miscellaneous goods and services, rising by 0.9% from 0.4%. Additionally, costs for clothing and footwear rebounded to 0.2% from a previous decrease of -0.1%, and communications costs rose by 1%, recovering from a -0.1% decline. On a month-to-month basis, consumer prices remained unchanged in November, mirroring the trend from the previous month.
