In October 2025, Serbia experienced a trade deficit increase to USD 806.5 million, compared to USD 799.5 million in the same month the previous year. Exports showed a robust growth of 11.5% year-on-year, reaching USD 3,432 million. This surge was significantly influenced by increased shipments in various categories: capital goods rose by 28.5%, intermediate goods by 7.0%, non-durable consumer goods by 11.7%, and durable consumer goods by 12.1%. On the other hand, energy exports saw a decline of 6.9%. In parallel, imports grew by 9.3%, amounting to USD 4,238.5 million. This rise in imports was primarily driven by capital goods and durable consumer goods, both of which increased by 16.1%, along with unclassified goods by MIG destination, which rose by 12.5%. Notably, energy imports decreased by 4.0%.
