08.01.202623:35:32UTC+00Rwanda Producer Prices Rise the Least in 7 Months

Producer prices in Rwanda experienced a 3.4% year-on-year increase in November 2025, a deceleration from the 6.8% rise seen in October. This marks the twelfth consecutive month of producer inflation, but it also represents the smallest annual gain since April. The deceleration was largely attributed to a significant slowdown in manufacturing prices, which rose just 1.9% compared to 6.2% the previous month. Conversely, prices in the mining and quarrying sector saw a notable acceleration, climbing 5.6% from 0.8% in October. The electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning supply sector held steady, with prices maintaining a robust 34.8% increase. In contrast, the sectors encompassing water supply, sewerage, waste management, and remediation activities experienced no price changes. Month-on-month, producer prices edged up by 0.2% in November, recovering from the 0.8% decline recorded in October.
