24.02.202616:36:24UTC+00Arabica Coffee Futures Rise Slightly

Arabica coffee futures climbed back above $2.80 per pound, rebounding modestly from a recent 15‑month low of $2.78, supported mainly by tight near-term supplies and speculative buying. Dealers also pointed out that the strengthening Brazilian real is discouraging farmers from selling at current price levels, further constraining available supply. Even so, overall market sentiment remains subdued due to expectations of a record 2026 harvest in Brazil, the world’s largest producer, where heavy rainfall since mid-January has significantly improved crop prospects. For the 2026/27 season, Brazil’s National Supply Company (Conab) projects a coffee harvest of 66.2 million 60‑kg bags, including 44.1 million bags of Arabica, while brokerage firm Eisa estimates output could reach as high as 75.8 million bags.
