Producer prices in Latvia increased by 0.8% year-on-year in March 2026, recovering from a 0.8% decline in February. Costs rose further in water supply, sewerage, waste management, and remediation activities (6.4% vs 6.3% in February). Meanwhile, deflation eased markedly in electricity, gas, steam, and air-conditioning supply (-0.5% vs -8.8%).

By contrast, prices in manufacturing edged down to 0.2% from 0.4%, pressured by weaker growth in the manufacture of wearing apparel (1.1% vs 1.5%), wood and wood products (0.1% vs 1.5%), printing and reproduction of recorded media (0.6% vs 5.2%), electrical equipment (0.3% vs 0.5%), and furniture (1.2% vs 1.5%). Costs also fell further in mining and quarrying (16.2% vs 17.6%).

On a monthly basis, producer prices dropped by 1.2% in March, reversing a 0.4% increase in the previous month.
