20.05.202605:00:00UTC+00Estonia’s Producer Prices Stabilize in April After Months of Decline

Estonia’s Producer Price Index (PPI) halted its decline in April 2026, with the month-over-month reading coming in at 0.0%, according to data updated on 20 May 2026. This follows a 3.6% decrease in March 2026, marking a notable shift from the previous month’s deflationary pressure in producer prices.

The PPI measures the change in prices received by domestic producers for their output and is a key indicator of pipeline inflation. On a month-over-month basis, April’s flat reading means that, on average, producer prices were unchanged compared with March, after having fallen sharply between February and March.

The comparison highlights a stabilization in cost dynamics for Estonian producers. While March’s -3.6% print signaled a significant monthly drop in prices, April’s 0.0% suggests that downward price pressures may have eased, potentially reducing immediate deflationary concerns in the production sector.
