10.07.202609:29:15UTC+00Croatia Producer Inflation Drops for 2nd Month

Croatia’s annual producer price inflation eased to 5.7% in June 2026, down from 6.2% in May. This marked the second consecutive month of deceleration after the surge in energy prices linked to the war in Iran had pushed producer inflation to a three-year high of 7% in April.

Energy prices for producers rose by 17.2% year-on-year, remaining the sole factor keeping the overall inflation rate historically elevated. By contrast, inflation stood at 2.2% for intermediate goods producers and 1.3% for capital goods producers. Cost increases were modest for consumer goods, at 1.1% for durable goods producers and 0.1% for non-durable goods producers.

On a monthly basis, Croatia’s producer price index (PPI) increased by 0.3%.
