24.07.202605:00:00UTC+00Finland’s Producer Inflation Cools Further in June, Extending Downward Trend

Finland’s Producer Price Index (PPI) continued to ease in June 2026, signaling further relief in upstream price pressures for the economy. Year-over-year, the PPI rose 6.7% in June, down from a 7.4% increase in May 2026, according to data updated on 24 July 2026.

The figures reflect a deceleration in producer-level inflation when comparing each month to the same period a year earlier. The May reading showed a 7.4% annual increase versus May of the previous year, while June’s 6.7% indicates that cost growth for Finnish producers is still elevated but gradually moderating.

This cooling trend in producer prices may eventually filter through to consumer prices and corporate cost structures, potentially easing margin pressures for businesses. However, with PPI growth still firmly positive, Finnish firms are likely to remain attentive to input costs and pricing strategies in the months ahead.
