The annual producer inflation rate in North Macedonia increased to 6.2% in June 2026 from 6.0% in May, reaching its highest level since March 2025. Price growth remained strong in energy (10.9% vs 10.2% in May), intermediate goods excluding energy (4.7% vs 4.5%), and consumer goods (3.7% vs 3.0%), with non-durable consumer goods also accelerating (3.7% vs 2.9%). In contrast, price growth for capital goods slowed (10.6% vs 11.2%).

By sector, costs in manufacturing inched up (5.2% vs 5.1%), while inflation accelerated in mining and quarrying (24.5% vs 23.2%), electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply (11.2% vs 10.7%), and water supply, sewerage, waste management and remediation services (7.4% vs 6.4%). On a monthly basis, producer prices rose 0.5% in June, easing from a 1.2% increase in May.
