11.08.202604:42:15UTC+00Dutch July Inflation Revised Slightly Up to 3.2%

The annual inflation rate in the Netherlands was revised slightly upward to 3.2% in July 2026, from a preliminary estimate of 3.1%, and was up from 2.9% in June. The main upward pressure came from a sharper increase in motor fuel prices (22% vs. 17.3% in June) and a rebound in energy costs (up 1.1% vs. down 1.8% previously). The broadening of import duties on consumer goods ordered from outside the European Union also contributed to the higher inflation rate. By contrast, housing price growth eased to 4.3% from 4.7%. On a monthly basis, consumer prices rose 1.6%, recovering from a 0.6% decline in the previous month.
