30.09.202606:19:42UTC+00European Stocks Head for Higher Open

European equity markets were set for a stronger open on Wednesday, as easing oil prices and stabilizing bond yields lifted investor sentiment. Oil prices have declined so far this week after Saudi Arabia restored roughly half of the capacity on its East-West pipeline, while the Trump administration ordered an additional release from emergency reserves. Global bond yields had recently climbed to multi-year highs, driven by concern that elevated energy prices might reignite inflation pressures. However, the bond selloff has begun to show signs of slowing. In Europe, investors will focus on fresh inflation data from Germany, France, and Italy, as well as UK GDP figures and German unemployment numbers. On the corporate front, Glencore and Yancoal Australia received approval for a major expansion of their jointly owned coal mines in Australia’s Hunter Valley region. In premarket trading, futures on both the Euro Stoxx 50 and the Stoxx 600 were up about 0.6%.
