01.10.202600:52:59UTC+00Singapore Home Price Growth Accelerates in Q3

Private home prices in Singapore rose 1.4% quarter-on-quarter in the third quarter of 2026, the fastest pace since the fourth quarter of 2024 and up from a 0.5% increase in the previous quarter.

Prices of non-landed properties climbed 0.9%, reversing a 0.1% decline in Q2. This was driven by stronger gains in the Outside Central Region (2.2% vs -0.1% previously) and a recovery in the Rest of Central Region (0.2% vs -1.2%). In contrast, prices in the Core Central Region slipped 0.1% after a 1.8% increase in the prior quarter.

Landed property prices rose 2.8%, picking up from a 2.5% increase. Despite the price gains, sale transaction volumes fell by about 30% on a quarter-on-quarter basis.

The government said it will maintain a high level of private housing supply, with 9,320 units on the Confirmed List for 2026—more than 50% above the 10-year annual average. In addition, around 60,600 private residential units, including Executive Condominiums, are expected to be completed over the next few years.
