Pound Climbs To New 6-1/2-month High Against Yen


The pound continued its previous session's gain against the Japanese yen in early New York deals on Friday. The pound approached a new 6-1/2-month high of 127.67 against the yen with 128.5 seen as the next upside target level. At yesterday's close, the pound-yen pair traded at 125.98.
