Research: Europe Seeing Large Withdrawals from Its Equity Funds

-Compared with the rest of the world, Europe is seeing large withdrawals from its equity funds (-$8.3bn in April after -$3.1bn in March), with a clear reallocation to money market funds which saw inflows of $18.3bn in April.

-Within European equities, a new trend is emerging with the apparent tailing off of outflows from French equities, inflows into Spanish equities and strong outflows from UK and German equities.
