  • Euro zone retail sales reported a better reading of  0.3 pct growth than modest decline of 0.1 pct expected by economist, it remained flat on year-over-year basis
  • December sales were revised down to -0.5 pct mm/-1.3 pct yy from -0.4/-1.6 pct
