Uk's Debt Agency Closely Watching Qe to Ensure Well Liquid Gilt Market

News

Britain's debt issuance agency is watching the BoE's asset-buying programme "incredibly carefully" to ensure it does not hurt liquidity in the gilts market
Daily Telegraph said that the BoE had taken a large portion of the gilts market out of circulation, reducing supply and potentially hurting investor interest.
Economists expect the economy to revive by the time of May's rate meeting for the cbank to pause its programme of monetary stimulus.
